Hello all,
Hopefully your year is off to a great start! Mine is (insert sad complaining no one wants to read about). I have decided to resume art features and hope to do this monthly. Feel free to suggest other artists, especially those who need exposure, as a comment below. Please check them out and leave feedback or tell your friends about this feature! Enjoy this month's selection:

1. Through the Woods by
This piece is simplistic and refreshing. It also brings to mind the importance of looking at the world around you and not getting caught up in society's woes. There's a lot more to be seen in his gallery.

2. Lili -looking for the sun by
This is a lovely clay sculpture that is appropriately detailed. It makes you want to say "aww"! This artist has more sculptures in her gallery, and draws beautifully as well!

3.Marick and the Overgrown Lizard by
The gestural style works really well for Rainvine. It adds a fun and mischievous feeling to this picture. You won't regret browsing through her gallery.

4.   Axe Man Journal Page by
This is a very nice fantasy character design, and the composition just makes you wonder what's the warrior's planning. Check out this growing artist.

5. Elf by
I love everything about this black and white drawing, and the character's personality shines right through. Give T-Apostate a look.

Hi all. Winter break's almost over so great time for a journal entry, right? How's everyone doing?
I'm not looking forward to school starting on the 13th, at all. Master's school is infinitely stressful (I'm in the Chemical Engineering program, it's interesting how there's 98% foreign and 2% American), but at least I got the 3.0 needed to continue in the program. I'm thinking on applying for community college in the summer to take a few art classes for fun (and starting towards working on an AA if it works out), but that's still a while away.
I need to find time to draw, but it's hard to put away some time to do it. I bought a few books from Goodwill yesterday, including Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. I've heard a lot of good things about it, so I'll be going through it this week and let you guys know if it gives me improvements!
After that I'll be working on a late Christmas present for my only friend at school; she wants a picture of me, her and a hot guy haha.
So I've set a few goals aside that I want to accomplish this year:

1. Improve drawing skills
2. Write down all my ideas (ask Subvertta, it's a huge problem >_>0)
   
3. Make more friends (including on dA) and be more active

Hi all. Hopefully you've been well. For some (including me), school starts soon, so good luck! I recently started a tumblr sketch blog (silente64.tumblr.com), so please check that out.
I've decided to start doing weekly art features for everyone, starting this week. You can check out art from the community, and see what interests you! You can also suggest an art piece or artist via comments below, but preferably only those who need exposure. There are no media restrictions, but it has to be PG rated. 1. Barn Owl by crymsonwolfe
   

As much as I love owls, this was a pleasure to the eye. There is an almost nostalgic mood to this piece, and the owl seems to have a curious nature. This artist has a lot of nice animal pieces in their gallery, so be sure to check them out!

    2.   Ygritte by yanzi-5
This piece is brimming with emotion, from the woman's face to the color choices. This is one artist you have to check out.
    3. Meeeeery by Merberry
A lot of adorable art is to be found with Merberry. In this piece, the colors are soft and friendly, and bring a smile to anyone's face. Be sure to check her out.

    4. Audi Race to Infinity by kurtmorrisrojas
A touch of sleek meets a dash of style. What I liked the most was the scenery in concert with the look of determination on the driver's face. This artist's gallery deserves a look.

    5. Water Flowers by Jocea
I really enjoy the mood of this picture, the color choices, and the flowers. Also, the character's mood transfers clearly. With gorgeous technique, this artist is not to be missed.
    6. Neko-Niki art commission by SerenityAur
What I like about this piece is the emotion between the characters, and how they connect. A touch of detail completes this piece. Do give this artist a look.

I draw slowly so for pictures I usually take 3 days to a week to complete it so it can be the best it can be . For pixels, 1-2 days.
If I make an icon for you, you should credit me in your signature.
If you cancel after you've paid for it, no refund since I already had gotten started. :/
